Reflection Connection

Reflecting on the Goodness of God

Reflecting on the Goodness of God

Our Purpose

“To encourage, inspire the Church to reflect the

character and faith of Jesus Christ”

Our Mandate

The Reflection Connection is to encourage the body of Christ.  We as born again believers are to reflect the character of Christ in our lives, by the way we speak, live, work and play.  We are to be a mirror image of Christ to the world around us.  As we grow in our relationship with Christ, it is important that our reflection of His character become clearer and clearer.  It is important that we stay focused in our walk with God that is to set, or fix our mind on the things of God, and the Word of God.

We have a mandate as Christians and that is to make disciples, to lead others to Christ; if those we are trying to lead do not see the character of Christ in our lives, why would they want to follow the Christ we serve.  Is our perspective clear? Are we  focused?  Is our mind set on the things of God?

The purpose of Reflection Connection website is to encourage you, teach you and help you to grow up in Christ.  To have a place to ask for prayer share your thoughts, and if you have been encouraged we ask that you pass on this site to all you know and love, to share the goodness of Jesus Christ.  The world around us if falling apart, and we as Christian's need to stand together, and we hope you find this place, a place of positive influence and healing for your very soul.

Our Path:

Fix your eyes on Jesus…the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross…

(Hebrews 12:2)

Let us follow the path set before us.... and we will Find Him!

There have been times when our spirit seems dry, distant and drowning in the things that can easily keep us distracted from who we are in Christ.  We all have experienced that feeling haven’t we? Consider this; the Word of God is a life line to keep our spirit responsive and hungry for the things of God.  The world around us is falling apart, we all can see it, and if we are not careful, we will be swept away in its downward spiral of discontent and sin. The Word is a lamp into our path (Ps 119:105); the word of God is living (Heb. 4:12); and He, Jesus Christ is the Word.

John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”  All the more reason the world, the flesh and the devil, enemies of the Cross, want to keep us from spending time daily in the Word of God. It is strength to our soul and it will cleanse the lens to our soul and help us to zoom in and stay focused on the goodness of the Lord, even while life around us is intense and out of control.

God wants us to seek Him, and when we do we will always find Him.  He is not the one who is hiding from us, we are hiding from Him.  He is not the one lost, we are sidetracked and entangled in the cares of this world, and all the time He is waiting and wanting so much to help us and set free from bondage. The Word of God…is the heartbeat of our Savior, the Savior of our soul and His Name is Christ Jesus our Lord.

We celebrate being part of the body of Christ, we challenge ourselves to walk in faith to encourage others to reflect the image of Christ character!
